Back in April I wrote about growing the jujube tree as part of your landscape because it is a lovely shade tree with an easy to use fruit. This week on Savor the Southwest - I wrote about how to use those fruits in just a few tasty ways.

Some good news - the monsoons have started in Southern Arizona at least. My yard sure needed the almost half an inch of rain I got. Hope you all got some rain too - but only just enough. And no flooding. Rain drops splash high after falling so far down out of the sky.
